Experience the Eiteljorg Museum for free!

eiteljorg.jpgThe Kendallville Public Library has purchased two passes to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis. Each pass is good for admission of up to four adults (at least two must have the same address) and all children age 17 and under. One pass will be available at the Kendallville Public Library, while the second pass will be kept at the Limberlost Branch in Rome City.

The Eiteljorg Museum is filled with one-of-a-kind experiences. It includes stunning galleries, a state-of-the-art education center, nearly three acres of gardens, Southwestern cuisine at the café and a wonderful collection of western and native jewelry and gifts at the Frank and Katrina Basile Museum Store.

Through August 6, the museum is hosting a special exhibit, Dogs: Faithful and True. It's a heartwarming look at the bond between humans and our canine friends and includes art, photographs, objects, interactive experiences and family programming. Numerous other special exhibits and activities are planned throughout the year.

These passes will be available for check out through June 30, 2018. Those planning a trip to Indianapolis and want to visit the Eiteljorg Museum may reserve a pass for specific dates. To make a reservation, contact the Kendallville Public Library at 343-2010 or its Limberlost Branch at 854-2775.
