Video Games Now Available at KPL

The 2017 Summer Adventure Community Prize is now available at the Kendallville Public Library and its Limberlost Branch.

Video games for Xbox One and Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, and Nintendo Wii are now on the shelves at both locations and ready for check out. You can check out up to two video games at one time for a seven day loan period. Video games may be renewed once if no one else has a hold on the item.

A video game collection was one of three possible prizes up for a vote this summer. If the community checked out 30,000 items in June and July – and it did – the library pledged to purchase the prize with the highest number of votes. The video game collection came out on top, followed by life-size games and new Cortex kits and equipment.

As with all collections at the Kendallville Public Library, the staff intends to continually add items to keep it current. If you would like to make a request to add to the video game collection, email info@kendallvillelibrary.org, call 343-2010 or talk to a staff member at the library.
