Wii for Seniors
Tuesdays, September 7, 14, 21 and 28 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Limberlost
Stay active with Wii for Seniors, each Tuesday morning in
September. Bring a partner and come enjoy Wii Sports, which includes
bowling, tennis, baseball and golf. What you play is up to you! Stop in
anytime you'd like - coffee and a light snack will be provided.
Adult Lunch Matinee

Relax and laugh with The Back-up Plan, starring Jennifer
Lopez. It's the feature of the Adult Lunch Matinee, so bring your sack lunch

Introduction to Word 2007
Tuesday, September 14 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Kendallville
Word processing is the topic of this class. This introductory
lesson to the popular Microsoft program includes typing a letter, formatting
a document, editing and printing. The cost of the class is $15 and includes
a book. Paid registration is required by Saturday, September 4 and is
limited to six participants.
Wednesday Movie Matinee
Wednesday, September 15 - 3:30 p.m. - Limberlost
Kids and adults will love The Last Song, the Miley Cyrus
movie based on the book by Nicholas Sparks. It's the feature of the
Wednesday Movie Matinee...for all ages! Bring a spill-proof drink with you
and the library will provide a light snack.

Flower Decorating from the
Garden
Monday, September 20 - 6:00 p.m. - Limberlost
Your bountiful summer garden can last all year long...after
you attend this program. Master Gardener Marilyn Carunchia will be using
flowers dried from her garden to create a flower arrangement and a wreath.
She will talk about what flowers and foliage are best for drying and how to
preserve the items. All arrangements created the program will be given away
in a drawing, too!

Prevent ID Theft
Monday, September 20 - 6:30 p.m. - Kendallville
Identity theft can happen to anyone. Sgt. Ron Galaviz from
the Indiana State Police should know...it happened to him, too. It's the
fastest growing crime in the 21st century, but there are ways you can
protect yourself and your children. The precautions are simple - they're not
high tech. Registration is required by September 16.

Learn the way to dress up your presentations through this
class. Participants should have some experience with Word or Publisher.
The cost of the class is $15 and includes a book. Paid registration is
required by Saturday, September 11 and is limited to six participants.
Perennial Plant Swap
Saturday, September 25 - 10:00 a.m. - Limberlost
Bring in your extra or unwanted flowers or foliage to the
Perennial Plant Swap. Not only will you get to trade plants with other
patrons, but a Master Gardener will be there to answer questions and have
perennial information available. The trading begins at 10:00 a.m. Please be
sure to mark your plants, so that everyone knows what you have to swap.

Resume Writing Class
Monday, September 27 - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Kendallville
Improve your chances of landing a great job with the
library's free Resume Writing Class. First, participants will learn about
simple resume building tools, then an expert will review the resumes and
offer suggestions. Participants should come prepared with all the
information they would like to include in their resume, including work and
education history. A jump drive is also handy to save work.

Geared toward novice users, this class teaches the basics of
this Microsoft spreadsheet program. Learn how to enter data, format the
data, create formulas and print. The cost of the class is $15 and includes a
book. Paid registration is required by Saturday, September 18 and is limited
to six participants.
Novel Conversations
Thursday, September 30 - 6:30 p.m. - Kendallville
Join the Kendallville Public library for Novel Conversations,
a new book discussion group starting this month. The first story to discuss
will be Philip Gulley's Home to Harmony. The books are available now at the
Adult Reference Desk. Novel Conversations will continue on the last Thursday
of each month (except November). All books are provided by the Indiana
Humanities Council.
