Placing a hold through Evergreen Indiana

Public Library district residents have the privilege of being able to place
holds on books and audio books from any library in the Evergreen Indiana system.
That feature is certainly being taken advantage of, given the number of books that arrive at KPL each week.
To place a hold in the Evergreen Indiana (EI) system:
¨ Make sure you have an email address in the library’s system.
¨ Go to www.kendallvillelibrary.org and click on search the catalog.
¨ Choose to search your local library system, a specific library or everywhere in the EI system.
¨ When you find the book or audio book you would like to place a hold on, click the place hold link.
¨ Verify the information on the screen is correct, and make any necessary changes to your pickup location (always returns to your home library).
¨ Click Place Hold. A box will come up announcing that your hold was successfully placed.
¨ If you receive a notice that your hold was not placed, it may be because you are a Reciprocal Borrower (examples: LaGrange, Garrett), are trying to reserve a non-transferable item, or are trying to reserve a book or audio book that has been released within the last six months.
