Winners Announced in the Reading Rainbow Book Writing Contest

Two local authors and illustrators have been recognized for their excellent work entered in the Reading Rainbow Young Author and Illustrator Contest.

First grader Hailey Meyer won third place for her story, The Dragon Who Had No Friends. In the third grade, Samuel Meyer won third place for his story, The Knight. Both students turned in their stories at the Limberlost Public Library.

All the winners were invited to a celebration at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. Congratulations to Hailey and Samuel!
